Nigeria's first premium, privately owned beachfront — and 3.5 million visitors a year.
Opened in 2018 on the Atlantic coastline, Landmark Beach hosted 60 businesses on site, anchored more than 100 landside businesses and supported more than 1,000 direct jobs and thousands more indirectly across seven sectors. Lonely Planet ranked it among Nigeria's top seven beaches in 2023.
In 2024 the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway was routed through the site and the beach was demolished in seven days. Its spirit lives on in every Landmark destination that followed.
