About
Designing the Africa he believes in.
Born in London to a Nigerian diplomat, trained as an architect in Nsukka and London, and seasoned on the global stage at Regus, Paul Onwuanibe returned home with a conviction: Africa deserves destinations as ambitious as its people.

Biography
Paul's career began on drawing boards. After a BSc in Architecture from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka — where he was admitted at sixteen — he earned master's degrees in Construction Project Management (London South Bank University) and Environmental Design & Property Development (Imperial College London), followed by an MBA from London Business School, with merit in Value Engineering.
As Development Director at Beacon Housing and then executive responsible for Property & Logistics at Regus plc, he helped open 190 business centres in 62 countries during the company's rapid global expansion.
In 1997 he founded Landmark Group, growing it across the UK, Europe and the United States before bringing the model home to Lagos in 2003 and, later, to Accra, Johannesburg and Nairobi. On a stretch of undeveloped Atlantic beachfront in Victoria Island he built what the BBC, Euromoney and the African Property Investment Summit called the most visited business, leisure and lifestyle destination on the West African coastline.
Today, Landmark has raised more than $100 million and carries a PwC-endorsed book valuation above $300 million — and is expanding into Enugu, Port Harcourt and beyond.
Philosophy
Live. Work. Play.
One idea runs through everything Paul builds: people should be able to live, work and play in the same inspiring place.
Live
Residences like Landmark Waterview Apartments, designed around the water and the city.
Work
Grade-A offices and serviced workspaces — a craft honed opening business centres for Regus worldwide.
Play
Beaches, resorts, events and family attractions that welcome millions of visitors every year.

Beyond business
Beyond business, Paul supports causes in health and education, mentors a young leadership group across three continents, and focuses on creating jobs for young people in the African cities where Landmark operates. He is married to Dr Ikunna Onwuanibe, a medical doctor; they have two children.
Africa does not need to import world-class experiences.
